KAPPL facility in Pollachi has planned to install 1.25MW windmill as a source of alternative energy for the unit, striving to maintain a better environment for the future. We use CFL lights and state-of-the-art power generators to cut our carbon footprint. Our environmental action also takes the form of education, to decrease the use of polythene and raise awareness among staff, associates and patrons. Kairali Ayurvedic Group works with farm-owners around its facilities. They supply the farmers with raw materials and technical support and offer them with a buy back guarantee for the produce this directly benefits the farming communities. Kairali is currently engaged with farmers cultivating approximately 150 acres of land.
